The 2021 CCRWC nominating committee is accepting nominations from the general membership for 2022-23 executive officers. If you would like to be an executive officer, or would like to nominate someone for a position, please complete the form below.
The deadline for filling out the forms and submitting them to the committee is midnight, Sunday, August 15, 2021.
The Nominating Committee of CCRWC is presently accepting nominations for the following Officer positions to serve for 2 years effective Jan. 2022 – Dec. 2023: This year we are accepting applications for President 2022-23 because the President-Elect decided to not to serve as President due to health issues.
- President Elect
- Vice President
- Recording Secretary
- Corresponding Secretary
- Assistant Treasurer
Requirements for Officer positions:
- Only Cobb County residents are eligible to hold office in the CCRWC, all officers must be voting members in good standing.
- The President & President Elect must have served in the capacity of a Standing or Special Committee Chair for at least one (1) year and shall have served as a member of the Executive Committee as an elected officer for at least two (2) years.
A description of Officers’ duties may be found in the CCRWC Bylaws (rev. 2018), Article VIII, Section 4, pages 16-24 (read Bylaws).
Those interested in becoming an Officer of CCRWC must complete the Application for Officer of CCRWC for the 2022-23 term. An in-person interview will be scheduled for each candidate to speak with the Nominating Committee. The application is to be submitted to the Nominating Committee by no later than midnight August 15, 2020. The interviews for the positions will begin on Tuesday, August 17, 2020. You will be contacted by email or phone as to the time and dates of your specific interview and length of interview. (There are some potential time choices.)
