The Cobb County Republican Women's Club (CCRWC) is honored to award the Babe Atkins-Byrne $2000 Scholarship to a minimum of one recipient annually.

Purpose

In Memory of Babe Atkins-Byrne who served as the long-term Membership Chair and served as a strong leader supporting the community during her life. This scholarship has been provided to assist in undergraduate educational development of any female who has been accepted to or is currently enrolled as a college/university or secondary education program.

Dates & Deadlines:

• April 15th          – Application Available
• June 1st             – Application Due – via email or mail

• If you are sending in the mail, please email that you have sent your application so that we can be looking for it in the mail.
• By June 15th     – Notification to Students
• June 30th          – Notification to and disbursement of check to the school
• Presentation    – Presentation to Student – if student/parent is available to attend the meeting at lunch event         designated by the Committee

When you join CCRWC, you automatically become a member of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women (GFRW) and National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW). The NFRW also awards scholarships and internships annually.

The following scholarships/internships are available from the NFRW:

• Betty Rendel Scholarship
• Kabis Memorial Internship (NFRW)
